Ali was in a program called Very Young Composers. She and 13 other students from her school worked for 12 weeks with a teaching artist from the New York Philharmonics. During this time they each composed an original score. Ali's is called "Got Milk?" Her inspiration came from looking around the room and noticing only cream colors, which reminded her of milk and subsequently music of a very soothing and calm nature. Each child's piece was then played by members of the New York Philharmonic. Enjoy!
